How To Remove Virus Or Spyware From Your PC

You may try steps below to remove infected virus or spyware from your PC:

1. Make a bootable antivirus CD.
   - Download Kaspersky Rescue Disk here.
   - Download Active ISO Burner.
   - Open the kav_rescue_10.iso file with Active ISO Burner and burn it into a CD disc. (Do not copy or burn the iso file to CD via explorer or Nero Express.)


2. Boot up your PC with Kaspersky Rescue Disk and start scan your hard disk. Most infected file are created by virus, it should be safe to delete. (more screen shot here)
   

   

   
   


3. After scanning done,  you may get a lot of pop-up error messages that shows files are missing or cannot locate the startup file. Its because the previous infected startup object command line haven't being remove from system configuration. Press the [windows key] + [R], this will bring up the Run program window. Type msconfig and click OK.
   

   

   
   


4. Go to Startup tab and un-tick any suspicious startup program.
   

   

   
   


5. Some object may left in the Services tab, just click Services tab, tick Hide all Microsoft services. Un-tick any suspicious startup program.


6. For advance user, you may use HijackThis ver 2.0.4 to scan through the system registry, browser object and startup command line.








7. Perform a system scan, tick any suspicious command line and click Fix checked. (note: use with cautions)
