Tips To Prevent Laptop Battery Explosion

There is 339 incidents of lithium and lithium-ion batteries "overheating, emitting smoke and fumes or exploding since 2003.", reported by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission. The greatest issue is no one can predict when thousands of this "time booms" are being triggered in airplanes.

Here, I got some tips to prolong a battery lifespan and tips of safety usage:
    Never repair your malfunctions battery.

    Use the original battery that's brought from the manufacturer or authorize reseller.

    Not to charge your battery more than 8 hours per charging session.

    Remove battery from your laptop after it has been fully charged and use the external plug-in power source.


Some tips above are useful for cell phone users too. Always check back your manual booklet and follow the usage instruction. I guess you don't want to ends your days like the Dell laptop above.
