There are many portents that could signify the end of civilization as we know it. Case in point: the Hello Kitty Sandwich Maker. Not only is this annoyingly cute sandwich contraption look just like a giant face of Hello Kitty, but it also burns little Hello Kitty Faces right into your sandwiches. Is there any real need for a Hello Kitty sandwich press? No reason that makes any logical sense, which is why it might be a sign.
